Alistair is a highly knowledgeable patent attorney and manager with a PhD in Aerospace Engineering focused on advanced control systems and artificial intelligence.
Prior to founding the firm, Alistair spent more than 12 years as a Patent Counsel with the Invention Science Fund, a division of Intellectual Ventures, where he was responsible for developing, managing, and commercializing a large patent portfolio through startups and licensing. Before that he was a patent attorney in both a large national firm and a small IP boutique firm.
Alistair is experienced in providing advice on intellectual property rights and offering representation to clients on all matters related to invention protection, driving ideation, IP strategy, and IP management as well as patent licensing for revenue and for supporting spin-out companies.
